What does it take to survive in the arid lands of Drelmund, where harvests or entire settlements can fail simply because of one bad day? If you ask the people who once called it home, it takes courage, stubbornness, and more than a little creativity.
They learned early that this wasn't a land where they could afford to make enemies - not when your worth was whatever you could sell. They also learned that every idea, regardless of how farfetched, was worth trying at least once. Sometimes they even succeeded.
If you travel across their lands you can still see the faint remains of time-worn roads buried in the sand from the distant past. Drelmund's many hubs and buildings weren't quite so lucky.
There are signs of evacuation in many that remain, and the few skeletons that can be found were in the warehouses - empty of supplies.
