Combat Notes

Falx is the strongest dedicated melee weapon. It also has a 25% chance to extract a creature drop per hit from drifters, shivers, and bowtorns.

Spears have the longest melee reach (3.5m) and can be thrown for roughly 2x their melee damage. Great for opening fights at range.

Attack Tier matters for armor penetration. Higher tier weapons bypass lower tier armor more effectively.

Class bonuses: Blackguard gets +30% melee / -15% ranged. Hunter gets +20% ranged / -15% melee. Clockmaker gets +25% vs mechanical creatures.
